Aleksandre Garber Georgia

Aleksandre Garber graduated from the Gnessin State Pedagogical Musical Institute and Postgraduate Studies majoring in piano under the guidance of Leonid Grumberg.

Since 1972, Mr. Garber has carried out an active career both as a performer and pedagogue. He appeared in concerts throughout the Soviet Union, as well as in various countries of Europe and CIS. In 1971-1081 he worked in Piano Department of the UFA State Institute of Arts.

Currently, he is a Professor at the V. Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire and Head of the Piano Department at the Z. Paliashvili Central Music School.

A number of Mr. Garber's graduates are laureates of different international competitions; the majority of them live in Europe and Asia occupying leadership positions.

Aleksandre Garber is frequently invited to prestigious musical competitions and festivals as a jury member.
